i am sure tomorrow will be better. what could be worse than having a nice, relaxed day out with coffee and felt pens? oh, i just remember: felt pen was one of the first words i learned in english. that was in fifth grade. my english book was from 1969 and we got to keep it. i never believed that what was written in this old, old english book was true. i mean, it said that the normal way to say hello in england was to say how do you do and that the other person then also said how do you do back. what i am trying to say is: i am relieved they are really called felt pens.

speaking of old: i just tried the old "hey boys, do you wanna wash the car" trick and it worked! lo and behold, in this minute there is two ten-year-olds with soapy t-shirts outside the garage, washing down the only car that ever felt like it was mine. and i thought, northern californian kids knew ALL the tricks...
