today i went to the land of obcure perspex colours: i found lavendar, terracotta, dark chocolate brown, pink, purple and sea blue. other acrylic merchants have scoffed at my chances of finding such stupid colours, but i knew better...

lavendar, terracotta, dark chocolate brown, pink, purple and sea blue make no rainbow, simon. rather, they make for a cafe solo in southern france, on a terrace behind a breath-taking mansion which is, at least partly, grown over by bougainvillae. the weather is fine, almost no clouds and just because i have to include purple as well, oh yes: the person sipping the coffee is prince.
